If you're an old time AHer, (senso, pblin, others) email me. I'd be happy to proxy for your MMM so it can be shipped to you second hand Smile

Hi Steve,

Second-hand won't apply here, according to the regs.

But didn't George say he had already handled the certs (RoHS, CE ,etc.) needed so they could simply get it directly? Confused.

No, I didn't,

I said I designed it to be RoHs compliant. All of the components are. I have to buy some RoHs-compliant solder Smile

I just asked people to give me some credit. I'm aware of all of that stuff.

I said I know people in various testing labs. That may be a moot point. I have a wall wart ordered but it isn't here to test yet. That would reduce the cert process. That's hard to process when the specs aren't cast in stone.

That's why I said I "May" use a wall wart. Power is power, it's my job to convert it and make the electrons do tricks.

Hopefully something can be worked out. If its very small quantities and sent over by an individual as gifts its possible it may not even matter.

It would be great if there was a way to purchase in Europe. If we order direct, we are liable for up to 33% in some places.
