MMM cabinets are connected together horizontally with slip-joint hinges. They can be connected in the following configurations:

Side-by-side, 2 hinges only: Allows you to adjust the angle between the two connected cabinets.
Side-by-side, all 4 hinges: Locks the cabinets so that they are in line with each other.
Face-to-face: Protects modules and allows for easy transportation.
